These Are a Few of My Favorite Things!

Today we wanted to share some of the things that Fluffy loved to do the most. First and foremost Fluffy's favorite way to pass the time was to eat. She loved her wet food, dry food, and of course her treats. Fluffy also loved to join Sam in the kitchen when he was cooking and would meow at him until he gave her some chicken or fish. I would say her favorite food by far though was tuna. Her love of food drove her to run up to me while I was carrying my plate to the table and she would meow or just look expectantly at me until I put my plate down so that she could observe and smell it's contents. After I lifted my plate up and began to walk to the table to eat I would often see her licking her lips or maybe it was just the air. Fluffy was a character!
When Fluffy was not eating you could usually find her sleeping somewhere. During the work week you could find her lying next to Sam in his office and the weeks that he was not working at home she would visit me in my office and find a place to curl up. Fluffy also loved to sleep on one of the two beds that we have or on a blanket that we kept on a chair in the living room. When the weather was nice she loved to go out on our back deck and find a nice place lie down. Sometimes it would be in the sun and when it would get too hot she would find a place in the shade. Fluffy also liked to curl up on a table that we have out in the garage. She could lie there and listen to what was going on outside but feel safe and secure at the same time.

Fluffy was a very affectionate cat and she needed some attention throughout the day. Of course, being a cat, it had to be on her terms. She loved it when we would get down on the floor and give her some good pets, usually on her cheeks or her ears, that was the best. Sometime though, we would sit down next to her and she would get up and move just a few steps away, just out of arms reach, basically letting us know that she needed some alone time. Fluffy would also need attention throughout the night and would wake Sam up when she needed some pets or just wanted to be around someone.
As we have talked about before, Fluffy loved to be outside. She loved being out on the deck and looking down onto her kingdom. I think she was looking to spot potential prey or maybe in her mind potential gifts for mom and dad. Fluffy loved to wander out back and throughout the entire neighborhood. Once in a while we would catch her staring in a window at neighbor cats that were inside. One of our neighbors mentioned that he caught her taunting his indoor cat through their sliding glass door. He could see Fluffy rolling around on their patio while his cat went crazy inside. Like we said before Fluffy loved to have fun and play tricks.
